Marching Band

It's an exciting time to be at CSU-Pueblo!

Hoag Recital Hall, our 600-seat venue, was recently renovated, the university's $25 million capital campaign will dramatically enhance scholarship opportunities as well as student life and learning on our campus, and, with substantial private support, we've recently overhauled our pipe organ and broadened scholarship offerings for Music majors and minors. Meanwhile, our own ThunderWolves Marching Band put their best foot forward across the state and nation in support of our NCAA Division II Football National Champion CSU-Pueblo ThunderWolves!

We are the perfect size at CSU-Pueblo- large enough to offer a comprehensive curriculum and expert Music faculty, but small enough to have a personal impact on the lives of our students... and they in ours. Our Bachelor of Arts in Music degree provides a well-rounded education firmly rooted in the liberal arts tradition, with opportunities to specialize in Music Performance, Music Education, and/or minor in such areas as Music and Audio Production, Jazz Studies, Music Theory/Composition, or Organ Performance Studies.

Tuba StudentWe are proud of our long-standing relationship with the Pueblo Symphony Orchestra, with whom many of our students perform, and the breadth of our ensemble program, from Jazz  Bands, Wind Ensemble and University Band, Orchestra, Concert and Jazz Choir, to our very strong chamber music program, which offers performance opportunities for brass, woodwind, percussion, and piano students.

At CSU-Pueblo, we will work with you on a first-name basis, developing not only your musical performance abilities, but the academic skills of a music scholar as well.

If you want to learn more about Music at CSU-Pueblo, please take a minute to fill out an Interest Form, and someone from our department will contact you and answer any questions you might have. You are also free to visit us in person- we are located in the Capps Capozzolo Academic Center for the Arts (Art and Music Building), on the west side of campus. Directions/Map.
